Scholarship Eligibility
A member of GLBC who is a graduating high school senior with a 2.5 GPA or better with plans to attend a college or university can apply for the scholarship.

- Interview (Optional – to break a tie in the same region)

How to Apply
Each applicant must provide a letter of recommendation with their application. Below you will find directions on how to complete and upload the Letter of Reference form to the application.
Step 1
Print the Letter of Reference form.

Step 2
The applicant should complete the top section of the Letter of Reference form.
The top section of the Letter of Reference form must be filled out by the applicant first before having their Recommender fill out the remaining sections of the form.
Step 3
The applicant’s recommender must complete and sign the Letter of Reference form.
The letter of reference form must be completed by a person whose relationship to the applicant meets one of the criteria below, who has known the applicant for at least one (1) year, and who can attest to the applicant’s character, leadership, and service.
The Letter of Reference form must be signed by the Recommender.
Step 4
Scan the completed reference form with your phone or another device.
In order to upload the completed letter of reference form you must convert the physical paper form to a PDF. You can use a smartphone or tablet to take a photos of the form. As you are taking the photo your device should recognize the form as a document allowing you to save the photo as a PDF.
You will need to scan both pages of the letter of reference form.

After scanning the first page you should have the option to take another photo to scan the second page before saving the document.
Android Phones
Most phones will automatically detect you are trying to scan a document if you simply attempt to take a photo of the form. While pointing the device at the form you should be prompted with the option to save the photo as a document.

Step 5
Complete the Application form*
The applicant must complete and submit the application form below.
*Please note the applicant must provide a completed Letter of Reference form with their application. The application form below includes a field for the applicant to upload the completed and signed Letter of Reference form.
